Solana raises the upper limit of block computing units to 100 million, but the bottleneck of popular account congestion still exists

According to CryptoSlate, Solana raised the upper limit of block computing units from 60 million to 100 million on July 29th, an increase of 66.7%. This adjustment has reduced the block occupancy rate of a single popular account from 20% to 12%, but the calculation limit for writing the same account in each block is still 12 million CUs, and the account data increment limit is still 100MB. The congestion bottleneck of popular accounts has not been fundamentally solved. If a large number of transactions need to be written into the same popular account, they are still limited by that limit. The official did not provide actual comparison data on transaction confirmation rates, fees, block propagation, or replay before and after the upgrade.
