Andrei Grachev: DEXE trading is due to negative funding rates, liquidation hedging, and increased cash reserves
DWF Labs co-founder Andrei Grachev responded to speculation in the DEXE trading market, stating that relevant transactions can be verified through centralized exchange records. DWF Labs bought DEXE in 2024, sold it for profit in 2025, bought DEXE around October 10th, and hedged the profits in the first half of 2026. When the funding rate turns negative, DWF Labs closes its short positions and increases its cash reserves by selling some DEXE spot. Andrei Grachev stated that all buying and selling operations are completed through centralized exchanges and criticized some paid KOLs for spreading misleading information.
