Bitcoin's average computing power dropped by 19% in 30 days, setting a record for the longest decline in history

According to BeInCrypto, since November 2025, the 30 day average computing power of Bitcoin has dropped from 1108 EH/s to 898 EH/s, a decrease of 19%. Glassnode data shows that this is the longest continuous decline in the history of the network. Mining companies hold over $70 billion in AI contracts, and some of the electricity capacity originally used for Bitcoin mining has been transferred to AI custody.
